Six baby skunks were left alone by their mom when they were only a week old. But luckily, there was a farm cat nearby who had just stopped nursing her own kittens. The cat decided to take care of the baby skunks like they were her own babies.
At first, the cat was a bit unsure, but then her instinct to take care of babies took over, and she began nursing the baby skunks.
It’s been two weeks, and the baby skunks are doing great! Their foster mom, the cat, is really happy. She’s become very attached to them and loves taking care of them. She even proudly carries them around to show them off to visitors!
Once they’re old enough, the little skunks will be released, so they can fend for themselves.
