A woman named Annie Mitchell, who is 71 years old, says she saw a big cat, even bigger than a Labrador, walking around the old tennis courts near her house. She was having lunch and looking out her window at her bird box when she saw the large black cat.
She went outside to get a better look and saw the big cat walking around the tennis courts near her home in Kirriemuir, Angus, Scotland.
Annie was surprised and said, “When I first saw it, I thought, ‘Wow, that cat is huge!’ Its tail was so long, and it was really big.”
“I thought it was bigger than any cat I’ve ever seen before. When I first saw it, I was about one and a half bus lengths away. Then, when I went outside to get a closer look, I was only about a car length away from it.”
The surprised person also said, “It looked really big. It seemed bigger than my Jack Russell dog. I thought it was longer than a Labrador dog but not as tall. I’ve never seen a cat that big before.”
“It definitely wasn’t a dog. It moved close to the ground, like it was sneaking around. Maybe it was looking for mice in the field.”
We’re not sure what the animal was, and nobody has seen it again since it was spotted on February 19th.
