Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s son, Pax Jolie-Pitt, was rushed to the hospital on Monday evening after an e-bike accident, according to law enforcement.

The 20-year-old was reportedly riding a BMX-style electric bike when the accident happened.

TMZ, the first to report the news, says Pax was riding along Los Feliz Blvd in Los Angeles around 5 p.m. when he crashed into the back of a car that was stopped at a red light.

The driver of the car reportedly got out to check on Pax. When emergency workers arrived, they decided he needed to be taken to a nearby hospital.

Pax complained of hip pain, and paramedics worried he might have a minor brain bleed. He wasn’t wearing a helmet during the accident.

He’s in stable condition and is expected to be released from the hospital on Tuesday.

This is a reminder of how important it is to wear a helmet while riding an electric bike.
