Bethenny Frankel is starting a new romance six months after breaking up with her ex-fiancé, Paul Bernon. The “Real Housewives of New York City” star, 53, was seen smiling and holding hands with businessman Tom Villante during a date in Santa Monica, California. For the outing, she wore a white dress with a deep neckline, matching white heels, and added a bright pink purse for a touch of color.
Tom Villante dressed smartly in a white button-up shirt, gray checkered pants, and a silver watch for their date. They didn’t hide their new relationship and went to Giorgio Baldi, a popular Italian restaurant where celebrities are often seen by paparazzi. It’s not clear when or how Bethenny Frankel and Tom Villante met, and her representatives haven’t commented on it yet.
This is the first time Bethenny Frankel has been seen showing public affection with someone new since her breakup with Paul Bernon. In May, a friend told Us Weekly that Bethenny and Paul split up because they were too different and it wasn’t working. Paul later dated Aurora Culpo, Olivia Culpo’s sister, but that relationship only lasted two months. Bethenny said it was really hard and embarrassing for her.
Bethenny Frankel tried dating again but admitted she ended things with her first date because he wasn’t really her type. Last month, she was seen swimming with German artist Niclas Castello in St. Tropez, which led to rumors they were dating. However, it turns out they were just friends, and Niclas was actually in a relationship with Anna Rothschild.
It looks like Bethenny Frankel has found a good match with Tom Villante. He’s the chairman and CEO of YapStone, a company that turns paper checks into online payments. Tom has done very well for himself; in 2020, he sold his Malibu mansion for $35 million, which was double what he originally paid for it.
