If your childhood was similar to mine, your family probably had its own favorite and well-loved Christmas songs that you listened to every year.
My parents preferred the classic Christmas songs, and they didn’t let Mariah Carey or Wham! songs play. That’s why I have a special love for those old, timeless tunes that have been around for years. They always bring back memories and make me feel nostalgic whenever I hear them on the radio.
Maybe that’s why I felt really warm and happy when I heard Carrie Underwood sing “The Little Drummer Boy” with her son for the first time. It was a touching moment that made me feel really good inside.

But I have to say, I felt a really nice warm feeling when I listened to Carrie Underwood’s 2020 version, especially because she sang it with her son Isaiah, who was 5 at the time.
