Celine Dion talks about a rare sickness that’s affecting her singing.

Celine Dion, the famous Canadian singer, shared some really sad news on social media. In a honest video, the 54-year-old singer told her fans that she has a rare and incurable sickness called Stiff Person Syndrome. This sickness makes her muscles have spasms, which affect everything she does every day, including singing.

“It makes me really sad to say this, but I won’t be able to start my tour in Europe in February,” Dion told her fans. “Recently, doctors told me I have a very rare sickness called Stiff Person Syndrome. It’s so rare, only about one in a million people get it.”

Stiff Person Syndrome is a sickness that messes with the central nervous system and can make life really hard. People with this sickness can have stiff muscles, constant pain, feel very anxious, and have spasms so bad they can dislocate joints or even break bones. Dion said these spasms have been making it hard for her to walk and are stopping her from using her voice like she used to.

Even though Celine Dion is facing tough times, she’s still determined and hopeful. “Singing is everything to me,” she said. “It’s what I’ve always done and what I love the most.” She’s getting help from a team of doctors and a sports medicine therapist to get better and perform again.

Dion is grateful for her three sons and her fans who support her. She knows she has to focus on her health and getting better. Even though she misses her fans a lot, she hopes to see them soon.

In her message, Dion asked her fans to take care of themselves and said she loves them. She still loves music and wants to give her best on stage. It might be tough, but with her determination and the support of her loved ones and fans, she’ll get through it.
