Dexter suffers from a severe chronic skin condition that put him on a local city shelter’s euthanasia list. Bear Den Sanctuary stepped in knowing they had to help this sweet soul.
Dexter’s skin is extremely inflamed, itchy, and even bleeds and seems to be exacerbated during certain times of the year. He has lost lots of fur and even some skin.
Dexter is very uncomfortable in his own skin. His skin lesions ooze and increase the risk for infection. He is currently suffering from a raging bacterial infection that has infected his abdomen.
