He used to be the most famous rock star in the world, but now almost no one remembers him.

Sir Paul McCartney, the famous singer from The Beatles, was recently seen with a man bun while on vacation in St. Barts with his wife, Nancy Shevell. Despite travel restrictions due to the coronavirus, the 78-year-old musician seemed to be enjoying his trip. Even as he nears 80, McCartney is still showing his youthful spirit by trying new hairstyles. His wife, Nancy, looked stylish in a pink top, brown hat, and big sunglasses.

Throughout his career, McCartney and the other Beatles were famous for their unique hairstyles. McCartney, especially, has often had long hair. His recent choice to wear a man bun shows he still likes to try new styles. In 2018, McCartney made news when he stopped dyeing his hair and let it go natural gray, which was a big change from the red hair he had for a long time.

McCartney had a busy holiday season. He went to St. Barts and released a new album, “McCartney III,” which he wrote and recorded during lockdown. In an interview with actor Idris Elba, McCartney said he didn’t plan to make an album; it just happened naturally. He explained, “Everyone was cleaning out their closets and doing things they wanted to do. For me, making an album was like that. I had no intention of making an album, but I ended up with ten songs and thought, ‘What should I do with them?’ I didn’t even realize I was making an album.”

McCartney told Elba that he chose the title “McCartney III” because the album was a solo project, like his previous albums “McCartney I” and “McCartney II.” He said, “Since I played all the instruments on McCartney I and McCartney II in a similar style, it made sense to call this one McCartney III. That’s when I realized what direction I was going in.”
