Helen Skelton’s ex-husband, Richie Myler, has had his second child with his new partner, Stephanie Thirkill. They recently welcomed a baby boy named Freddie. They also have a daughter named Olivia, born in May 2023.
This news comes seven months after Richie’s divorce from Helen, which was finalized after they separated two years ago.
Helen Skelton was married to Richie Myler for eight years. She announced on Instagram that he left their home just four months after their youngest child, Elsie, was born.
Helen, who left her job at Radio 5 Live last year to spend more time with her kids, and Richie also have two other sons, Ernie, who is eight, and Louis, who is five. With the new baby Freddie, Richie now has five children.
Richie Myler and his partner, Stephanie Thirkill, welcomed their son Freddie three months ago. Stephanie has updated her Instagram bio to say she’s now a proud mother of Olivia and Freddie. She also added Richie’s name with a heart emoji and a dog to honor their pet Ralph.
Stephanie has changed her name to “Stephanie Emily Myler,” suggesting she and Richie might have made their relationship official.
Stephanie is the daughter of Andrew Thirkill, the president of the Leeds Rhinos rugby club where Richie played from 2017 until last year.
In June, Helen Skelton moved out of the home she shared with Richie after selling their Yorkshire property. She is now living with her parents, who are helping take care of her children while she works and plans her next steps.
In her autobiography, “In My Stride,” Helen wrote about how shocked she was by the split, saying she didn’t expect it at all.
In 2022, Helen Skelton appeared on Strictly Come Dancing, which helped boost her confidence after her separation.
She said the show was a great reminder of her abilities, like getting an “invisible crown” to boost her self-esteem. Helen felt overwhelmed with turning 40, having just had another baby, and managing life on her own, including moving house.
The dancers on the show were impressed by her juggling three kids and buying a new house, which helped her feel more confident about her achievements.
