Before she became known as “Catwoman,” Jocelyn Wildenstein was a natural beauty.
On her daughter Diane’s birthday, the Swiss socialite shared a rare photo of herself before all her plastic surgeries.
The 82-year-old posted an old picture on Instagram of herself sitting on a couch with her baby daughter on her lap.
Wildenstein looked beautiful in a white shirt with her blonde hair and dark-red lipstick. She was looking off into the distance, just like baby Diane was.
Wildenstein wrote, “Happy Birthday to my beautiful daughter Diane Wildenstein #oljogi #jocelynwildenstein” in the caption of her post.
Wildenstein had her daughter and son Alec Jr. with her late ex-husband, billionaire art dealer Alec Wildenstein, who passed away from prostate cancer in 2008.
She became famous in the 1990s during her high-profile divorce from Alec. She received a huge $2.5 billion settlement and $100 million each year after the divorce.
They split up because, according to Jocelyn, Alec began showing off his affairs in public.
Over the years, there were rumors that Alec, who loved cats, encouraged Wildenstein to get surgeries to make her look more like a cat.
However, in a 1998 interview with Vanity Fair during their difficult split, Alec denied that he made her change her appearance.
Alec said, “She was crazy. I always found out last. She thought she could fix her face like a piece of furniture. Skin doesn’t work that way. But she wouldn’t listen.”
In the past, Wildenstein said she changed her appearance because Alec didn’t like being with older people. But in the Vanity Fair interview, she changed her story about his influence on her surgeries.
She said, “He never pushed me… He always told me I looked very young,” but then added, “Until the day you don’t look young enough!”
The mom of two also said that some of her facial features are natural.
She said, “Lynxes have perfect eyes. If I show you pictures of my grandmother, you’ll see those same cat-like eyes and high cheekbones.”
Last year, Jocelyn said she was broke because Alec’s family stopped her $100 million yearly divorce settlement. She also filed for bankruptcy in 2018.
She told The Telegraph in 2023, “I have a big problem with my settlement. For the past eight years, they have completely cut me off.”
In 2021, it was reported that Wildenstein was working on a documentary about her life to earn money.
Her publicist said, “She really wants to share her story, including what drove her and how she built a business with her fiancé during their busy life in New York.”
The documentary has not been released yet.
She is currently dating fashion designer Lloyd Klein, 57, whom she met at New York Fashion Week in 2003.
