Michael J. Fox, who has bravely fought Parkinson’s disease for 30 years, recently shared a touching update on his health. He remains a strong advocate, but admits that living with the condition is becoming more challenging.
In a new interview, Fox said, “It’s getting tougher.” He also mentioned a recent spinal surgery for a benign tumor that affected his movement, leading to multiple fractures. He explained, “You don’t die from Parkinson’s. You die with Parkinson’s.” He added, “I’m not gonna be 80.”
Fox’s journey with Parkinson’s is featured in his upcoming documentary, “Still,” where he talks about the severe pain and tremors he experiences. Despite these struggles, Fox stays positive and insists he’s not “going anywhere.”
