Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta-Jones’ young son said nice things about his parents during a rare family outing.
But some people criticized him for not having good manners during his sweet speech for his mom and dad.
Michael Douglas, who is a devoted dad, believes his son was taught to be polite.
The couple, who have been married for 22 years, appeared in public with their 22-year-old son, Dylan. They were at the premiere of “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” in Los Angeles on February 7, 2023.
During an interview with Entertainment Tonight at the event, Dylan got to talk about how awesome his parents are.
Dylan talked about how there’s friendly competition at home between his parents. He said he’s happy to see them both still doing great work. He also mentioned how proud he is of them and how they’re not just great actors but also great parents. Dylan spoke warmly about his parents during an interview, and they seemed emotional and proud while listening to him.
But some people on social media criticized Dylan after his speech. They didn’t like that he appeared to be chewing gum during the interview, which left a bad impression on them.
Douglas said he enjoyed waking up his kids when they were ten and seven and getting them ready for school. He made their breakfast every morning and later asked them about their day and friends.
He proudly said that he has a strong bond with his kids, and they feel safe with each other. He said the love between them is incredible, with no judgment, which feels amazing.
He also mentioned that his kids have good manners. They’re not spoiled or rude. They’re polite, confident, and know a lot about the world.
Douglas also revealed that Dylan “has dyslexia to a degree – it runs in the family, and my brother has it,” adding that they enrolled him at a special school.
