Reese Witherspoon’s rumored relationship with Oliver Haarmann might be getting serious.
The “Morning Show” actress, 48, was seen with Haarmann, 56, at a heliport in New York City over the weekend, just a month after they first sparked dating rumors.
Reese looked happy, wearing a white top, jeans, and a striped sweater over her shoulders. She was also with her 11-year-old son, Tennessee, from her previous marriage to Jim Toth, and her 20-year-old son, Deacon, from her previous marriage to Ryan Phillippe.
Oliver Haarmann, the German financier, arrived soon after Reese Witherspoon, wearing green cargo pants and a black polo shirt.
The rumored couple was first seen together in late July when they went out for dinner at L’Artusi in the West Village.
They reportedly arrived in New York City by helicopter and spent most of the weekend together. A source told the Daily Mail that they had been seeing each other quietly for months.
However, another source told People that Reese Witherspoon and Oliver Haarmann are just “friends” and seeing where things might lead.
Reese is taking her time with dating and doesn’t want it to be a major focus in her life right now. She’s busy with work and taking care of her son, which are her top priorities.
Both Reese and Oliver have recently gone through divorces.
Since her divorce from Jim Toth was finalized in August 2023, Reese Witherspoon hasn’t publicly dated anyone.
Before her relationship with Haarmann, Reese was married to Ryan Phillippe from 1999 to 2008. They have two kids together: 20-year-old Deacon and 24-year-old Ava.
After news of Reese’s new relationship, Ryan Phillippe stirred up attention by posting several shirtless photos.
Oliver Haarmann, who helped start Searchlight Capital Partners, was previously married to businesswoman Mala Gaonkar. They have two sons together.
Haarmann stays out of the spotlight and doesn’t use social media. According to his LinkedIn, he graduated from Brown University and Harvard University.
Although he mostly lives in London, Haarmann is also a minority owner of the New York Islanders.
