Music stars and their touring crews often have fascinating stories from their travels, but one recent tale is heartwarming.
During a concert in Chicago by Grammy-nominated country singer Tyler Childers, some rescue puppies stole the show and captured the hearts of his touring team. This led to a wonderful outcome.
Three puppies from a shelter in West Texas were in danger of being put down because there wasn’t enough space and adoptions were slow.
Luckily, a shelter called One Tail at a Time in Chicago heard about their situation and rescued them, as mentioned in a Facebook post by the organization.
Saved from being euthanized in Texas, the puppies were brought to Chicago where they got a big surprise: they were invited to a concert by Tyler Childers and S.G. Goodman at the United Center.
Tyler Childers is a country music star who has been nominated for Grammy Awards seven times. He’s famous for songs like “All Your’n” and “In Your Love.”
One Tail at a Time said, “Their goal was to give the hardworking road crew a little bit of happiness and love.”
The crew really liked the three rescue puppies, and the visit ended with something amazing happening: all three puppies were adopted by crew members!
“Congrats to Tyler an Larry, Kyle and Cheryl, and Suzanne and Ted. We couldn’t be happier for these little road dogs!” One Tail at a Time wrote.
“It truly takes a village to change their lives!”
You never know what will happen on tour, and there have been other stories of musicians playing a gig and then unexpectedly going home with a puppy — like Meat Loaf and Carrie Underwood.
