Meet Ron! He’s a cat who has a wonderful talent for making other animals feel relaxed at Northfields Veterinary Hospital in Colorado.
When Ron first came to the hospital, he was a little scared because he didn’t have a home and was found wandering on the streets. But as time went on, he got used to meeting lots of new people and animals. So, he decided it would be a good idea to help out.
“He wasn’t scared of other dogs or cats. He would go up to them and even try to climb into their cages,” said Shelly Sandel, who is a veterinarian and co-owner of Northfield Veterinary Hospital.
“Ron began snuggling with pets who were under anesthesia for dental work, not surgeries. He would cuddle up to them to keep them warm and even groom them while they slept, as if trying to give them comfort,” explained Sandel.
