Steve Martin is currently starring in the Hulu show ‘Only Murders in the Building.’ He’s working with his old friend Martin Short and singer-actress Selena Gomez.

Steve Martin created his character in a natural way. He said, ‘I’m happy that my character isn’t changing much. People always ask what the character learns or how they grow, but at 75, there’s not much left to learn—just more chances to make mistakes. So, I focus on staying true to the character. If Martin Short is true to his character and I’m true to mine, we’ll do fine.’

He added, ‘When this show is over, I’m not planning to look for new roles or do cameos. This is probably it for me.’

Steve is also known for his many appearances on ‘Saturday Night Live.’ He has been a special guest 19 times and hosted the show 15 times.
