Watch this amazing video! A mom leopard is caught on camera helping her cute little leopard cubs cross the road in Kruger National Park, South Africa. It’s one of the biggest wildlife parks in Africa. These tiny cubs are so adorable that they’ll leave you speechless. Seeing it on film makes the moment even more unforgettable.
Thinus Delport, who is 64 years old, got to see something amazing! He witnessed a mother leopard and her two tiny cubs crossing a road about 6 kilometers away from Lower Sabie towards Crocodile Bridge. Thinus was super excited because it’s not every day you get to see something so rare.
“In the morning, my daughters and I left the camp to find leopards. They thought there were no leopards in Kruger because they’d never seen one. While we were driving, I joked that they should sing to attract the leopards. Surprisingly, it worked!”
“We hit a traffic jam where a few cars were stationary. It seemed like visitors were looking at a pride of lions. My daughter noticed that in the thicket behind our vehicle, there was a mother leopard trying to move her cubs!!”
“It was my daughter’s first time in Kruger, and she was quick to start recording with her camera. I’m glad she did because I would have been too excited and shaky to get good footage. We stayed and watched as the mom leopard crossed the road first to make sure it was safe. Then she came back to guide her cubs safely across.”
“This was an extremely rare sighting, and you don’t often get to see a leopard mother relocate her cubs when they are still so young. We’ve been visiting the Kruger for over 50 years, and not once have we seen something like this. This just came to show that patience really does pay off.”
