Sadly, Ivana Pino Arellano, also known as “La Rancherita de Chanco,” died in the car accident. She was a cherished country singer.

The singer lost control of her car and flipped it over just one day after celebrating her 32nd birthday with family and friends.
The accident, which killed one person, occurred on the M-80 road near Pelluhe in central Chile’s Maule Region.
Arellano, the driver, died at the scene, and her passenger was seriously injured.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation, but it’s believed that she lost control because the road was wet, causing the car to flip.
Arellano was a mother of four, a rising star in country music, and a beloved member of her community.
Her tragic and sudden death has left the community grieving.

“Your departure leaves a void that can never be filled, but your legacy will live on, reminding us of your beautiful spirit and generous heart.”
The local council shared these sentiments, praising Ivana’s dedication to public service and her deep love for her family.
“Ivana embodied the spirit of public service with passion and kindness, always ready to help others and find solutions, even in tough times,” said the singer’s family.
They added, “Her husband and children were the center of her life and the reason she did everything.”
Family, friends, and fans gathered to say their final goodbyes at the Curanipe Parish Cemetery in Pelluhe on June 17.
The Municipality of Chanco posted, “Thank you, Ivana, for giving us days filled with light and peace.”
