Kass Theaz, who has more than 142,000 followers on TikTok, got famous when she made a video saying she’d sue her parents for not asking before she was born. The video got millions of views. People were surprised to find out she’s a parent herself, but she adopted her child.
In the video, Theaz looks serious while sitting in a car and says, “In my last video, I talked about buying clothes for my kids. Many are surprised I have kids because I joked about suing my parents for having me without asking.”
But then she wants to clear things up. Theaz says her parents played a role in her being born, and when she mentioned suing them, it was just for fun. She wants to point out that she didn’t agree to being born and having to grow up and work.
She jokes, “Otherwise, kids might start suing parents, and I’m making it my life goal to teach kids to sue parents so they don’t have to work.” It’s all playful.
Talking about her own experience of being a parent, Theaz says adoption is different from giving birth. She says it’s not her fault her adopted kids are here, and she just wants to be a good mom and give them a happy home.
Many people who watched the video weren’t sure if Theaz was joking or serious. Some thought it might be satire. But Theaz later said it was just a joke and suggested people look into things more before reacting.
